SAVINELLI FUOCO 642 BENT APPLE RUSTICATED PIPE
Robust, bent Apple, light rustication, aluminum band
The painting appearing on the box of this pipe is "Il Fuoco/The Fire" by painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Taking inspiration from this work of art, Savinelli has created the three finishing of this splendid series. Here we propose you the rustic one, obtained with a new kind of manufacturing introduced for the first time in this series. Called with the informal name of "spellatura", this kind of rustication, very light, leaves small patches of smooth surface creating beautiful colour contrasts. A particular aluminum band joins the shank with the tapered stem giving it a touch of originality. Model 642, an unusual bent Apple, recalls the Irish style. The rounded bowl is joined to the tapered stem by a thick and solid cylindrical shank. This model bend is particularly pronounced giving it an incredible lightness in your mouth.
